May 13, 2008 · I grew up watching Cary Grant as Sergeant Cutter in 1939’s “Gunga Din.” Fans of this movie will most enjoy “Sergeants 3” which successfully translates the plot and themes from India to the American West. Dean Martin successfully reincarnates the Cary Grant character. A fitting tribute to one of the greatest adventure films of all time.
