  4. Nov 7, 2023 · I loved the idea of a slasher being set during the Third Saturday in October. It doesn’t fit the Halloween vibes that a lot of horror movies try to replicate. It works for October with the fall colors and cooler weather while giving the crew a break from worrying about Halloween decorations.

  6. Nov 7, 2023 · Overall, The Third Saturday in October Part V is the film I hoped for. It’s a fantastic slasher that looks like it was made during the 80s. So many films of the last twenty years has tried to capture this look and failed.

  7. Threesome action scene is a must see! Some favorite moments were the Beetlejuice-esque retro TV Ads. A brilliant Sunday afternoon spent with friends laughing (and looking away) watching Third Saturday in October after first (very important sequencing) watching Part V. The child actor was especially natural and talented . . . A star in the making!
