DKFXP is the name of a musical collaboration between Franky Perez (FXP), of Scars on Broadway, and Dave Kushner (DK), of Velvet Revolver. To date, three songs by the duo have been released, for free download via the Franky Perez website, while one was reworked by Kushner and used for the film Hisss, featuring vocals and lyrics by Shruti Haasan.
When not on the road with Slash, Perez had also formed a new collaboration with Dave Kushner (Velvet Revolver) and tracks began appearing online under the moniker ‘DKFXP’. Initially offered as free downloads, it wasn’t long before they got the call saying Meat Loaf had heard ‘Party of One’ and wanted to make it his own.
