Joshua Winkelman (born April 20, 1970), better known by his stage name Josh Wink, is an American electronic dance music DJ, label owner, producer, and remixer. He is a native of Philadelphia, United States.
Josh Wink is a Philadelphia-based techno and house artist who has remixed and influenced many genres. He runs Ovum Recordings, a label with over 25 years of history.

- Where are you in the world right now, and what’s the setting like? I’m currently at LAX Airport. It’s 7:00 a.m. on a gray and overcast morning, and typical airport morning vibes and surroundings.
- What’s the first album or piece of music you bought for yourself, and what was the medium? Funny that I remember. It was a 45 vinyl record, by Canadian singer Terry Jacks called “Seasons In The Sun” on Bell Records.
- What did your parents do for a living when you were a kid, and what do or did they think of what you do for a living now? My father was a neuro-ophthalmologist, and my mother was in school studying to be a psychotherapist… They were always happy and proud of me and my artistic profession.
- What’s the first non-gear thing you bought for yourself when you started making money as an artist? I can’t remember as it was such a long time ago. I was never really one who would go and spend money on myself unfortunately.
Philadelphia born and based Josh Wink is one of the true pioneers of techno, house and allied styles - blurring the definitions. Taking trends, making trends and breaking trends, Josh Wink’s music has always experimented and influenced.
