Paul Spencer Denman (born July 1957) is an English songwriter and bass guitarist. With Sade Adu, Andrew Hale, and Stuart Matthewman, Denman gained worldwide fame as the bass guitarist of the English band Sade. He is also a member of the English band Sweetback.

Its music features elements of soul, quiet storm, smooth jazz and sophisti-pop.
May 25, 2016 · Paul Denman is a great study in simplicity and hypnotic grooves that pull you into the song. Mixed with Sade's sensous voice, its pure eargasms! Cherish the Day is great with the way the song starts with no bass, and when it comes in later it locks you into the song and you can't leave no matter how hard you try.
