ABOUT ROGER MASON. Roger Mason was born in 1944, the descendant of a long line of Jewish musicians and Yankee pickle farmers. His father was a backsliding Quaker and a traveling army intelligence officer. At the age of 17, Mason was already a global nomad, a third culture kid.

Mar 16, 2009 · Roger Mason (b. 1944 in Maryland, USA) is an American folk musician, guitarist and songwriter. He often collaborated with Steve Waring. Mason moved to France in 1964. He stopped performing and recording around 1984 when he became a full-time music teacher at Marymount International School in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.
