Bobby Capps. Bobby Capps first joined 38 Special as a touring keyboardist and backing vocalist in 1987, stepping in to fill the gap left by Barnes and others over the years. In 1992, he became a full-time member of the band. Capps has contributed to the band’s studio albums since the early ’90s, including “Resolution” and “Drivetrain.”
