Jan 24, 2013 · Guitarist Igor Gianola has left U.D.O. — the German metal band led by former ACCEPT frontman Udo Dirkschneider — "due to conflicts between band appointments and his private life and business."
The band known as Vanize, fronted by Udo Dirkschneider's brother Peter, supported U.D.O. during the tour. Line-up changes occurred during the second part of the tour with Gotthard guitarist Igor Gianola replacing Jürgen Graf.
Graf also left around the same time, with Igor Gianola taking his place in time for the recording of Holy. Drums on the album were credited to "Guess Who", but were likely programmed by Kaufmann who did the same on earlier albums. Schwarzmann's replacement was Lorenzo Milani, who joined U.D.O. in November 1999.
