Apr 15, 2022 · Con Cluskey, the lead singer of Irish pop band The Bachelors, has died after complications from coronavirus. The 80-year-old musician, who enjoyed a raft of chart success in the 1960s, had lived in Elland for a number of years. He sadly died at Calderdale Royal Hospital on Friday, April 8 after complications related to Covid-19.
