Biography. NOTICE: Born today, November 14th, 1915, a daughter to Frederick and Francis Tilton of Corpus Christi, Texas. Their baby girl will be named Martha Ellen Tilton. When Martha was three years old, her family moved to Edna, Kansas for a short time; then, in 1922, they settled on Laurel Avenue in Los Angeles.
