Previous to her tenure at MMC, Peruggi served as Associate Dean for the system of schools under the City University of New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the College of New Rochelle, a Master of Business Administration from New York University, and a Doctor of Education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
