Eric Sorensen was born in Rockford, Illinois, and lives in Moline, Illinois. Sorensen earned a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University in 1998. His career experience includes working as a meteorologist. Sorensen has served on the boards of Clock, Inc. and the Project of the Quad Cities.
