Dahlia Hill is unlike any other garden. 3,000 dahlias are planted yearly on the eight-level terraced hillside. Showcasing over 250 labeled varieties along the gravel paths, there are examples of all 19 dahlia petal types.

If you start at the trail by the "Tridge" and walk about a mile West, you will arrive at the Dahlia Hill. The gardens are terraced, and include step paths and sculptures. There are signs that indicate the flower bed layouts, as well as the history of the gardens.

Dahlia Hill (DH) is both a protected garden area in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, encompassing 1.41 acres (0.57 ha) of terraced gardens, and the a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization that runs the garden.
Dahlia Hill is an established destination for learning how to grow dahlias, for taking photographs, resting from nearby biking or walking activities, meeting with others or enjoying a tranquil nature setting.
