Almost two miles of handicap-accessible boardwalks and pavement are available for visitors to Weedon Island Preserve. Boardwalks extend through tidal flats and mangrove forests, providing viewing opportunities over saltwater ponds, which are often teeming with mullet and wading birds.
Four picnic areas and one pavilion await visitors to Weedon Island Preserve. These areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please help us keep them enjoyable for all visitors by cleaning up and depositing trash in nearby trash receptacles.

Indigenous peoples, including those during the Weedon Island Cultural Period, occupied this site for thousands of years.
