Judged outstanding in every OfStEd inspection, Dartford Grammar School provides a broad, balanced international education, following the principles of The International Baccalaureate both in the Middle Years and the Sixth Form.
Dartford Grammar School is a secondary foundation school for boys (ages 11–19) in Dartford, Kent, England, which admits girls to its sixth form (ages 16–18). All of the students joining the school are considered to be from the top 25% of the ability range, as determined by the 11-Plus examinations.
Dartford Grammar School for Girls has provided first-rate education since 1904. As we embrace the ever-changing opportunities and challenges of the 21st century, we will continue to uphold the traditions, values and high expectations of an exceptional grammar school within an innovative, creative and progressive framework.
The school will admit 180 boys into Year 7 each September. We use the Kent Age 11 Procedure for Entrance to Secondary Education (PESE) tests. Parents and guardians must apply for their sons to take these tests during the summer of Year 5.
