The plot revolves around the murder of Mexico's president, Diego Nava Martinez (Erik Hayser). On the night of his death, he attacks his wife, Emilia Urquiza (Kate del Castillo), in an abusive rage. The two struggle, and Emilia is eventually knocked unconscious.
