Enos or Enosh (Hebrew: אֱנוֹשׁ ʾĔnōš; "mortal man"; Arabic: أَنُوش/يَانِش, romanized: Yāniš/’Anūš; Greek: Ἐνώς Enṓs; Ge'ez: ሄኖስ/Henos) is a figure in the Book of Genesis in the Hebrew Bible.
Feb 9, 2023 · Enos, sometimes spelled Enosh is a son of Seth, Adam’s third son. Enos appears to have lived during the first spiritual revival recorded in human history. Being the grandson of Adam, one wouldn’t think he needed a reminder about the truth. Sadly, it seems people were straying from the truth even in the earth’s earliest stages.
Enos was the son of Seth and the grandson of Adam, who lived nine hundred and five years. He was also the ancestor of Noah and the author of the first book of the Bible.
Enos was a Nephite who lived about 420 B.C. and wrote a record of his spiritual experiences and visions. He prayed for the forgiveness of his sins, the salvation of the Lamanites, and the preservation of the Nephite records.

Enos is an American action comedy television series and a spin-off of The Dukes of Hazzard. It originally aired on CBS from November 12, 1980, to May 20, 1981. The series focused on the adventures of Enos Strate, a former deputy in rural Hazzard County, after he moved to Los Angeles to join the LAPD .
