Parasyte -the maxim- (寄生獣 セイの格率, Kiseijū: Sei no Kakuritsu) is an anime television series produced by Madhouse based on the Parasyte manga series written and illustrated by Hitoshi Iwaaki.
Alt title: Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu. In secret, alien parasites drift downwards toward Earth. Their directive: to take control of a human body and thrive in secret. When a parasite attempts to take over Shinji, an ordinary high school student, he stops it in his arm to save his mind.
