Aug 20, 2007 · Edward G Robinson started the series in 1937, but left in 1942. There is only one of his episodes here. Edward Pawley took over from 1943 to 1952 when Walter Greaza finished off the series, which also briefly had a television incarnation, as well as movies and comic books.
