Jan 11, 2021 · Ahead of the next installment, Netflix announced the cast of the Sparrow Academy, a group that will be of major focus for the show's new chapter. Many of the incoming characters with powers share certain powers and personality aspects of the original Hargreeves siblings .

- Marcus (Justin Cornwell) Power: Super strength. The Sparrows are even more competitive about their numerical designations than the Umbrellas, so pulling the No. 1 rank is no easy achievement.
- Ben (Justin H. Min) Power: Monster tentacles. His face is familiar, but this isn't the Ben the Umbrella Academy grew up with. The Sparrow Academy version is leaner, meaner, and tougher.
- Fei (Britne Oldford) Power: Can emit blackbirds from her body. Like Ben, Fei's power involves quite a bit of body horror. But that's not the only reason they work so closely together.
- Alphonso (Jake Epstein) Power: Voodoo pain. He may not be pretty to look at, but Alphonso packs a punch. Perhaps a better way of saying it is that he packs your punch.
- Justin Cornwell as Number 1, Marcus Hargreeves. Marcus, similar to Number 1 of the Umbrella Academy, possesses superhuman strength. Adopted by Reginald Hargreeves in place of Luther, Marcus was assigned the role of Number 1 as a confident, natural-born leader, in addition to being charming and chiseled.
- Justin H. Min as Number 2, Ben Hargreeves. Ben of the Sparrow Academy is the very same Ben audiences know and love from the Umbrella Academy… or is he? In the Hotel Obsidian universe, Ben was raised a bit differently, though he still retains the same tentacly power.
- Britne Oldford as Number 3, Fei Hargreeves. Fei, the smartest of her adoptive siblings, has the ability to manifest a murder of crows to attack her enemies.
- Jake Epstein as Number 4, Alphonso Hargreeves. Much like a human Voodoo doll, Alphonso Hargreeves can inflict pain and suffering on others by damaging his own body.
- The Sparrow Academy cast. The Umbrella Academy features an incredible ensemble filled with amazing actors you’re likely to recognize from their roles in both film and television.
- Justin Cornwell as Marcus, Sparrow Number One. Joining the cast as The Sparrow Academy’s leader is Justin Cornwell as Marcus, the glue that keeps the Sparrows together.
- Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves, Sparrow Number Two. Justin H. Min once again returns as Ben Hargreeves, but the Ben we meet in season 3 is far from the sweet Ben we know and love from past seasons.
- Britne Oldford as Fei, Sparrow Number Three. Fei has quite a unique ability with the power to manifest a murder of crows to attack her enemies and serve as her eyes in the sky.
- Justin Cornwell as Marcus Hargreeves (Number One) Marcus Hargreeves is to the Sparrows what Luther is to the Umbrellas…albeit a touch more respected. Here is Netflix’s description of the character: “A charming, chiseled, colossus.

- Jake Epstein as Alphonso Hargreeves (Number Four) Due to the “I am rubber, you are glue” nature of his power, poor Alphonso looks like he has seen better days.
