The Kids from C.A.P.E.R. were the natural descendants of The Monkees (They shared the same executive producer in Don Kirshner). Unfortunately, The Kids didn’t share The Monkees’ knack for Top 40 tunes. An album was released, but no hit singles resulted, and The Kids were left floundering in the Saturday morning ratings race.
