For the first time, New York City was not a stop on the audition tour. This was the first season to have Salt Lake City, Utah as one of the audition stops. The songs used for eliminated contestants varied throughout the competition. ^1Katee Shean was awarded $50,000 for being America's favorite female dancer. ^3 Jessica King suffered an injury that resulted in her being unable to continue in the competition.
