On July 1, 2021, Drag Race Italia was officially confirmed by World of Wonder through its Instagram accounts. In this occasion it was also announced that the show will soon be available on the company's online streaming service, WOW Presents Plus, to all countries excluding Italy, where it will be distributed by Discovery+.

After The Race is a companion web series of exit interview for the contestants of Drag Race Italia, hosted by Tommaso Zorzi. This series highlights the contestants' run on the show, as well as various garments viewers did not see on the main stage. It is similar to what Whatcha Packin' is for RuPaul's Drag Race.
