The Imagination Movers are an American children's band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2003. [1] The line-up includes drummer and multi-instrumentalist Rich Collins, keyboardist and banjo/mandolin player Scott Durbin, bassist Dave Poche, and guitarist Scott "Smitty" Smith.

Imagination Movers is an American musical sitcom based on the format and music of the New Orleans music group of the same name that premiered its first two episodes consecutively on September 6, 2008, on Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney daily block, following the premiere of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode Pluto's Bubble Bath.

The Imagination Movers story is the ultimate example of the power of imagination. In 2002, four New Orleans friends– Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche, and Scott “Smitty” Smith– had an idea. They thought kids wanted and deserved music that spoke to them, not down to them.
