Barnaby Jones is an American detective television series starring Buddy Ebsen as a formerly retired investigator and Lee Meriwether as his widowed daughter-in-law. They run a private detective firm in Los Angeles, California.
Barnaby Jones is hired to investigate when a philandering doctor is indicted for murdering a colleague's wife. Barnaby must ensure the safety of the only witness the crime: a teen-aged girl.
