Dark, bloody, but excellent British crime drama. Read Common Sense Media's Whitechapel review, age rating, and parents guide.

9.2. Amazing. 9.9. User Avg. An excellent British crime drama set in Whitechapel, home of the infamous Jack The Ripper murders. A new DI must come to grips with a serial killer who is using history to inspire his murder spree. With a great cast and script this is a juicy crime show to get stuck into.
With Rupert Penry-Jones, Phil Davis, Steve Pemberton, Sam Stockman. A fast-tracked inspector, a hardened detective sergeant, and an expert in historical homicides investigate modern crimes with connections to the past in the Whitechapel district of London.
