Animal Ark exists to provide medical treatment, care and shelter to homeless and abandoned pets until each is placed in new, loving, adoptive homes. Founded in 1977, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit Minnesota corporation.
Animal Ark is the only "No-Kill" animal shelter serving the Twin Cities area. We place over 1000 pets in new adoptive homes each year. Our shelter can house about 180 animals, including dogs, cats and other small animals. Rescues reptiles are cared for in approved foster homes.
