Law & Order: UK (stylised as Law & Order | UK) is a British police procedural and legal television programme broadcast from 2009 to 2014 on ITV, adapted from the American series Law & Order.

UK version of the long-running U.S. TV drama that tells the stories of two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime; and the attorneys, who prosecute the offenders.

DS Devlin and DS Brooks investigate the murder of a 13 year-old boy, Sean Monroe, the son of a fellow police officer, who was killed and put down a storm drain. A note found on the body points to the work of Andrew Dillon, who was sentenced for an earlier racial murder and is serving his sentence.
A fellow tenant, Mike Turner, has been bribed by the landlady, Maureen Walters, to harass the occupants into leaving so that she can renovate the building for higher rents and he is charged with tampering with the heater and killing the child.
