    The second season of Monk consisted of 16 episodes and was split into two halves. The first nine episodes aired in the summer of 2003, while the final seven episodes began airing on January 16, 2004. The season was released on DVD on July 6, 2004 (alongside the first season of the Murder, She Wrote reboot) and on Blu-Ray on December 19, 2023.
