Better Off Ted is a satirical workplace comedy, centred around the employees of a stereotypically evil megacorporation of Veridian Dynamics. Veridian Dynamics experiments on its employees, twists the truth, and will stop at nothing to achieve its goals.

Ted is a recent divorcée raising a 10-year-old daughter, named Rose, after his wife left him to find herself as well as to "save the world". Ted's latest assignment involves recruiting Phil to be cryogenetically frozen as a public relations experiment for the company's research purposes.

After it got cancelled on Fox Victor Fresco basically just retooled the characters a little, creating Better Off Ted, notably replacing Andy with a handsome single father leading man. Both shows are equally brilliant at mocking the faceless corporate office culture of yesteryear.

Feb 14, 2022 · Better Off Ted was guilty of being way to ahead of its time. If it came out today we would be watching a ratings juggernaut and a show that would last at least 6 seasons, possibly even a movie. Yes that's a Community reference but would also be true, deal with it.
