Michael Valmont-Selkirk got his cushy job as the director of the philanthropic Selkirk Foundation the old-fashioned way: he married into it. Although he and Selena, the wealthy daughter of the late tobacco titan R.J. Selkirk and the Foundation's chairman, are no longer married, Michael has retained his position, partly as payment for catching Selena with another man.
