Summaries. Jack "Madman" Buckner is an old-school newspaper editor: he speaks his mind, makes lots of enemies, and doesn't sweat the little details. However, his young boss has different ideas about how a newspaper should be run and has no intention of putting up with what she sees as Jack's outdated attitude. Worse yet, she's Jack's daughter.
