Grindl is an American situation comedy that began in fall 1963 on NBC, originally sponsored by Procter & Gamble. The show, starring Imogene Coca in the title role, lasted for one season.
Grindl is an employee of Foster Temporary Service, and her boss Anson Foster accepts a variety of jobs for his employees. Grindl works at everything from babysitting to theater ticket-taker, always finding unique ways to accomplish her tasks.

Grindl, the only witness to a gangland slaying, is told the identity of the killer by the victim's talking dog. When she attempts to report the information to the police, she finds herself in a hilarious predicament courtesy of the real killer, who is also a ventriloquist.
