Francis Alick Howard OBE (6 March 1917 – 19 April 1992), better known by his stage-name Frankie Howerd, was an English actor and comedian.
Frankie Howerd was a British comedian, actor, and writer who starred in Up Pompeii, The Ladykillers, and The House in Nightmare Park. He suffered from stage fright, depression, and a nervous breakdown, but received the OBE in 1977 and wrote an autobiography.
