Versailles is historical fiction drama television series, set during the construction of the Palace of Versailles during the reign of Louis XIV.
With George Blagden, Alexander Vlahos, Tygh Runyan, Stuart Bowman. In 1667, 28-year-old all-powerful king of France, Louis XIV, decides to build the greatest palace in the world - Versailles. But drained budget, affairs and political intrigues complicate things.
S1.E5 ∙ Bow to Your King. Philippe returns to Versailles a war hero. Louis holds a celebration, while losing confidence in Fabian due to the constant highway robberies that are impeding the funding of his palace. Cassel refuses to attend the celebration.
Louis meets Guillaume d'Orange in a relentless combat and returns to Versailles full of new energy. The court is in shock of two new deaths and Montespan feels herself increasingly isolated.

Season 1. Versailles, 1667.
