Bäckström is a Swedish television crime drama series, which was broadcast on C More Film from 23 March 2020. It is based on Leif G. W. Persson 's book series about police inspector Evert Bäckström. [ 1] An American TV series, Backstrom (2015), is based on the same character, [ 1] but transposed to Portland, Oregon.

Nicklas Bäckström ( Swedish: [ˈnɪ̌kːlas ˈbɛ̂kːstrœm]; born 23 November 1987) is a Swedish professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Bäckström was selected fourth overall by the Capitals at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut the following year.
