Criminal Intent changed its primary first broadcaster from NBC to USA Network beginning with this episode. To coincide with this network change, starting with this episode, the previous Criminal In...Though Detective Eames had mentioned being married before, this is the first episode where we learn her husband's full name, Joe Dutton (we heard his name as just Joe in the "The War at Home"), and...Goren comes back as he had been on leave since his mother died in "Endgame".Goren is seen driving, which is different as Eames generally prefers to drive."Law & Order: Criminal Intent" Amends (TV Episode 2007) cast and crew credits, including actors, actresses, directors, writers and more.
Eames started digging in the old evidences and thanks to improvements in DNA checking, she was able to prove the wrong guy spent nine years in prison. At the end both murder cases were solved. A nice episode, illustrating the pressure that sometimes detectives must face to find as soon as possible the cop killer.
Van Buren has been ordered to clear a backlog of cold cases, so Briscoe and Green start with the 1981 murder of 16-year-old Mary-Beth Moseley. Briscoe's former boss Tommy Brannigan was the lead on the case, but he can't explain why vital notes and evidence are missing from the archive.
