    "Fool's Gold" is the third episode of the second season, and twenty-seventh episode overall, of the ABC sitcom, Benson.

    Directed by John Rich, the episode originally aired on November 14th, 1980.

    When Benson and Kraus find a secret compartment in the Mansion's fireplace hearth, they unearth a letter written by a past governor telling about a stash of hidden gold. When word gets out, the staff catches gold fever.
