The Paper Route is the 17th episode in the series.
To buy themselves a new bicycle, Wally and Beaver get jobs delivering newspapers. But is it a job they can do themselves- or will June and Ward find themselves once again helping the boys out?
Ward goes down to the paper office to straighten the situation out and finds old man Merkel is half Ward's age. When Merkel balks at hiring the boys back, Ward threatens to have his company pull their advertising. The boys get the route back, but they don't want it.
