Justice Desserts is the fifth episode of season one of Future Man. It aired November 14, 2017, along with the rest of season one.
With the new plan of kidnapping a Biotic to steal its TTD, the trio work to unmask the Biotics at Kronish Laboratories. They plan to sneak a mildly poisoned confection into the annual holiday party at Kronish Labs, but run into roadblocks as Wolf and Tiger learn to blend in with the time period, Josh grows closer to his coworker Jeri, and detective...
The trio go back to the sewer to solidify their plan to steal a TTD from a Biotic. Josh reveals that the annual holiday party at Konish Laboratories, the Kronish Ball, is that upcoming weekend. The party always ends with a toast and everyone eating a Kronish Ball, which is a small chocolate truffle. Since Biotics are immune to poison, they plot to add sewer mushrooms to the Kronish Balls that will make every non-Biotic puke and shit themselves. From there, they could kidnap a Biotic and steal its TTD.
Josh realizes that Tiger and Wolf are not prepared to attend a social gathering, so he introduces the pair to his parents as homeless former prisoners of war, hoping Gabe and Diane will be able to teach them some social niceties.
Diane tries to teach Tiger about wearing makeup, nice dresses, and heels, which she really doesn’t take to. But Diane is patient with her and explains the idea of dressing up for herself. She expresses that if Tiger isn’t comfortable in makeup or dresses or heels, then she shouldn’t care about what anyone else thinks. Surprised by this understanding, Tiger tries to figure out Diane’s angle, only to realize she doesn’t have one. They bond over the idea of family, and Diane puts a streak of purple in her hair to match Tiger.
Gabe teaches Wolf the basics of cooking. At first, he is not very good at it, but Gabe corrects him with kindness and understanding. This concept is foreign to Wolf, having grown up in the sewer, and so he latches onto Gabe emotionally. Once Gabe explains cooking in terms of chemistry, Wolf understands much better and gains a passion for the craft.
Meanwhile, Josh tries to get the recipe for the Kronish Balls. Dr. Kronish reveals that because he released his research to the public in “A Riphole in Time,” Dr. Stu Camillo has scaled down the Kronish Ball and canceled the toast. This is a setback in their plan to poison the Kronish Balls.
Josh goes to his coworker Jeri to get the recipe for the Kronish Balls under the guise of making the Balls for Kronish as a kind surprise. Jeri mentions offhand that some of their other coworkers have quit without notice, but then names off the Biotic soldiers that were killed in “A Riphole in Time.”
•While destroying the Kronish Balls, Stu laments that losing the money from Kronish Labs cost him a theoretical seat at SpaceX, Michael Jackson’s catalog, and a secret Wu-Tang album.
