After J.R.'s fake story about his father's past, even if untrue, it would be expected that the staff and/or administration would've questioned Graham about such allegations. A strict Catholic school wouldn't tolerate that behavior. In another episode, federal agents allegedly arrive to frivolously investigate a random claim against Graham. It's uncertain if these two incidents are related, or just coincidence.

Synopsis - The first day of school is a culture shock for everyone, particularly the teenage girls, who are fawned after by the entire male student-body. But the young men soon back away from the girls when J.R. tries to impress two guys by revealing that Coach Lubbock killed a kid in New York "just to watch him die".
