May 19, 2018 · I still don’t understand the significance of the chalk machine. Why was it so important to Clay? Hallucination Hannah is pretty demanding and is getting more and more alarming. Also, does anyone ever witness Clay talking to hallucination Hannah? The baseball coach is the worst.
Clay discovers a possible link to the location in the Polaroids to the rape case. The presence of a chalk machine in the background means it could be linked to the school and athletics. A point that's further enhanced by Coach Rick seemingly allowing or helping members of the baseball team pass drug test illegally.
