Bojack Hates the Troops is one of my favorite episodes of the first season, and it's a good thing it came so early on in the series's run. The episode is partly the typical generic, over-the-top "adult" humor that the first half of the first season is infamous for, but there's also a glimpse of what the show would become in its later seasons.
When BoJack drops by the grocery store to buy breakfast, he runs into trouble with a seal who called dibs on the last box of breakfast muffins. Out of spite, BoJack tosses the muffins into his cart and buys them, then eats all twelve them on the way home.
