Ronnie Cutrone. Ronnie Cutrone (July 10, 1948 – July 20, 2013) was an American artist and nightclub impresario. He began his career as pop artist Andy Warhol's assistant before becoming known for his own paintings of cartoon characters. Cutrone helped run the New York nightclub Mudd Club and later operated his own nightclub the Rubber Monkey.

Ronnie Cutrone. Ronnie Cutrone (American, b.1948) is a Pop artist renowned for his vibrant, satirical paintings of American cartoon characters. He attended the School of Visual Arts in New York from 1966 to 1970, where he painted figurative images of rescue and survival. In 1970, he turned his attention toward sculpture and drawing.
