Formerly Gail's Station House, Bissell house is newly renovated after a fire practically burned down the historic building on Main Street. The restaurant and bar offers delightful lunches, decadent dinners and a country brunch to boot.

Jun 27, 2007 · While it today features a Greek Revival appearance, originating in changes made in the nineteenth century, and it was also moved at some point to be above a new cellar, the Benjamin Bissell House actually dates to 1694, making it the oldest house in the East Windsor Hill Historic District.
May 27, 2021 · The Henry B. Bissell House, built in 1850, is located at 202 Maple Street in the Bantam section of Litchfield. In an area with numerous eighteenth and nineteenth-century wood frame farmhouses, it is a rare example of a stone house, being constructed of ashlar granite.
