Thionville ( French pronunciation: [tjɔ̃vil]; Luxembourgish: Diddenuewen [ˈdidənuəvən]; German: Diedenhofen [ˈdiːdn̩ˌhoːfn̩] ⓘ) is a city in the northeastern French department of Moselle. The city is located on the left bank of the river Moselle, opposite its suburb Yutz .
