Horwich (/ ˈ h ɒr ɪ tʃ / HORR-itch) is a town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, Greater Manchester, England, within the historic county boundaries of Lancashire. It is 5.3 miles (8.5 km) southeast of Chorley, 5.8 miles (9.3 km) northwest of Bolton and 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Manchester.

Manchester, UK11 contributions. birthday celebrations for my wife. my wife Jane had a 60th birthday on sunday - and it was a great experience - we booked Ridgmont House 3 months prior (in jan) and Martin and Neil who set up the arrangements for the do were excellent in advising and making the arrangements - we had a buffet arrangement and the food was perfect / there were drinks on arrival / a bar / and music (we managed to play our own music from spotify - and i had arranged a singer - Neil Diamond tribute (James Norton) who was excellent - we all had a great time - Our thanks to Martin and Neil (the chef) and also to the food organiser on the day and drinks / arrangement organiser on the day both of whom were so helpful and made everything go smoothly.
