    According to legend, Radolfzell was developed out of a monastery founded in 826 AD as a monastic cell under Bishop Radolf (Latin: Cella Ratoldi) of Verona. The tourist information office is located at the train station (Bahnhofplatz 2). It is open Mon-Fri 9-18 and Sat 10-13.
