Karlstad (US: / ˈ k ɑːr l s t ɑː d /, Swedish: [ˈkɑ̌ːɭsta(d)] ⓘ) is the 20th-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Karlstad Municipality, the capital of Värmland County, and the largest city in the province Värmland in Sweden.
