Kifisia or Kifissia (also Kephisia or Cephissia; Greek: Κηφισιά, pronounced [cifiˈsça]) is a municipality and one of the most affluent northern suburbs in the Athens agglomeration, Attica, Greece, mainly accessed via Kifissias Avenue, running all the way from central Athens up to Theseos Avenue in the suburb of Nea Erythraia.

Kifissia is actually a beautiful place and street by street much nicer than downtown Athens. Besides the main square there is also Kefalari Square each of which is like a smaller version of the National Gardens, with ponds and palmtrees and interesting plants and flowers.
Kifisia is much quieter than the busy city center, with long wide roads surrounded by lush trees, beautiful parks and elegant shops. Strolling around, you will notice that the streets are full of luxurious houses, neoclassical mansions and newly-built villas with spacious and well-cared gardens.
